A starry lineup of Broadway’s best will take beloved songs in the Broadway canon and transform them into queer anthems and love ballads when Broadway Backwards returns.

By transforming show tunes into queer stories, Broadway Backwards stands as the only annual event on Broadway custom-made for the LGBTQ+ community, friends and allies. This elevated evening showcases performances by celebrated legends and rising stars, bringing to life the stories audiences long to see onstage in fresh, unexpected and deeply moving ways.

The first slate of special guest performers includes Tituss Burgess, Tony Award winner Len Cariou, Bradley Dean, Dionne Figgins, Jordan Fisher, Ana Gasteyer, Tony nominee Joshua Henry, Tony winner Gregory Jbara, Adam Lambert, Tiffany Mann, Tony winner Kelli O’Hara and Joy Woods. This starry lineup – and more still to be announced – will bring to life LGBTQ+ stories through show-stopping show tunes in fresh, unexpected and deeply moving ways.

Broadway Backwards favorite and Tony nominee Jenn Colella returns to host the anticipated annual evening for the fifth year. Filling out the initial cast are Lydia Gaston, Preston Perez, Kei Tsuruharatani and Remi Tuckman.

Performers are subject to change.
