Home For The Holidays Event

Tony Award winner Gary Beach hosted the event and introduced Tony-nominee, Sam Harris.  Sam and Gary joked together as they had been playing partners in The Producersfor the last six months.  Sam got up to sing his track from “Home for the Holidays,” “Merry Christmas, Darling.”  Next up was Tony-nominee for RENT, Daphne Rubin-Vega, who heated things up with her rendition of “FelizNavidad.”

Patrick Wilson, who just finished his Tony-nominated run in Oklahoma, spoke to the crowd and thanked them for coming out to support Broadway Cares.  His next project is filming “Angels in America” for HBO.

Another Tony-nominee for RENT, Anthony Rapp, then took the stage with Swing‘s Everett Bradley to sing “Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy.”
