Enrollment has begun for Broadway Bares: Strip U, the only college campus where clothing is optional and bodacious burlesque production numbers are always in the curriculum. Theatre fans and Broadway stars will walk or run 3.1 miles through the streets of Manhattan, ending at the famed New York City Marathon finish line in Central Park, while raising money for Broadway Cares. Broadway’s best will raise some dough for people in need across the country at Broadway Bakes. More than 20 stars, including 2017 Tony nominees Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, Gavin Creel, Andrew Rannells and Brandon Uranowitz, will work behind the counter at Schmackary’s, the New York theatre district’s favorite cookie shop, May 15-19 in support of Broadway Cares.
