Raise the curtain and fire up the footlights! On September 10, 2001, The New York Design Center will celebrate its 75th Anniversary with an exciting gala event, “An Evening on Broadway”, at the historic building at 200 Lexington Avenue. Co-sponsored by House Beautiful, one of the nation’s oldest and largest shelter magazines, the event will feature artists from Broadway’s top shows including The Full Monty, Kiss Me Kate,Disney’s The Lion King, andCabaret performing in select NYDC showrooms. Proceeds from this event will benefitBroadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS, the nation’s leading industry-based, non-profit AIDS fundraising and grant making organization.
