If you’d like to invite people to buy tickets
Hi __,
[Personal note.]
I want to invite you to something near and dear to me. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Broadway Backwards, a spectacular celebration benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Center – and I’m thrilled to be part of the host committee for this milestone event.
Broadway Backwards is the only Broadway event uniquely designed for the LGBTQ+ community and our friends and allies. Will you join me by attending the performance on Monday, March 23? Broadway Backwards features more than two dozen Broadway stars in a stunning musical production that takes familiar songs in the Broadway canon and transforms them into queer anthems and love ballads. Take a look at highlights from last year’s performance to see for yourself: https://youtu.be/j_acQ0ra4rg
Because I’m a member of the host committee, my friends have exclusive access to the best seats prior to tickets going on sale to the public. Will you join me at the __[ticket level]__? Your ticket purchase would provide __[62 home-delivered meals to a homebound LGBTQ+ senior]__.
To get early access to tickets, visit broadwaycares.org/backwards2026tickets. Be sure to select my name as the host committee member who invited you when you purchase tickets.
In a moment when vital services and organizations are at risk, your support will make a lifesaving difference for members of the LGBTQ+ community, providing healthy meals, counseling, health care and housing. I hope you will join me in serving and uplifting the community at a time that has never been more critical.
All the best,
[Your name]
P.S. If you are unable to attend, you can still make a lifesaving difference by donating to my personal fundraising page at [add your URL].
